Why are my Cash on Delivery Messages (COD) not sending in Shopify?

This article will help you to debug why your Cash on Delivery messages haven't been sending out.

Set up COD for your Shopify Store

  1. Make sure you have enabled Cash on Delivery in your Shopify store
  • Go to "Settings" in your store
  • Then click on "Payments"
  • Under "Manual payment methods"; click on "Cash on Delivery" & activate it

COD should display at checkout page;

Set up collection of phone numbers

  1. Make sure you collect users phone numbers at checkout to notify them
  • Go to "Settings" in your Shopify admin account
  • Then click on "Checkout"
  • Under "Customer Information" make sure "Shipping address phone number" is set as required

Format of product image included in template message is correct

  1. If you have included the display of image of product in the template message then need to make sure the format of the image should be jpeg, jpg or png
