What are Monthly Chatbot Sessions?

Each time a chatbot is triggered, it counts as one "Chatbot Session"

Any automation triggered through Default Action or Keyword Action that does not include a Chatbot would not count as a "Chatbot Session"

Monthly Chatbot Sessions

Monthly Chatbot Sessions is the number of chatbot sessions triggered in a given billing month.

Please note that - when calculating Monthly Chatbot Sessions, Billing Month is used - not Calendar Month.

Example - if your plan start date is 18th of a Month, your Chatbot Session will be reset on 18th of each month.

What happens when you exceed your monthly chatbot sessions?

Upon exceeding the monthly chatbot session limit, the chatbots will stop triggering unless the chatbot session limit is upgraded or the billing cycle reset date arrives.

You will get email alerts when your chatbot session approaches 80% or 90% or 100% of it's limit in a given month.

Please check these alerts and decide to subscribe to add-on monthly chatbot sessions.

How to check the Monthly Chatbot Sessions used in the current month?

Wati allows checking the monthly chatbot sessions included in your plan and also checking their usage for that month.

To check the Monthly Chatbot Sessions, please follow these steps -

  1. On Wati, click on "More" --> "Account Details"
  1. Click on "Your Plan" on the left navigation and you will find a section to check "Monthly Chatbot Sessions" that shows the available limit in their current billing month.

How to purchase Additional Chatbot Sessions?

You can subscribe to purchase add-on monthly chatbot sessions.

Follow these steps to buy Additional Monthly Chatbot Sessions -

  1. On Wati, click on "More" --> "Account Details"
  1. Click on "Your Plan" on the left navigation and you will find a section to check "Monthly Chatbot Sessions" that shows the available limit in their current billing month.
  1. Click on "Buy Bot Sessions"
  1. Use the slider to choose the add-on monthly chatbot sessions that you want to subscribe to and then click on "Subscribe Now"

The frequency of the monthly chatbot session add-on billing will be the same as your base plan. This means - If you are on the Annual Plan, your monthly chatbot sessions will be billed annually
If you're downgrading your monthly chatbot sessions, the downgrade will be effective from the next billing cycle.
