How It Works

Enabling Audio Transcription

  1. Locate an Audio Message: In the Team Inbox, find an audio message you want to transcribe.

  2. Click "Transcribe Audio": This option is available for messages in WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger.

  3. First-Time Users: You will see a brief introduction to the feature with an option to enable transcription. The feature is currently in Beta.

  4. View the Transcription: Once enabled, the transcribed text will appear directly under the audio message.

  5. Expand or Collapse: Click to expand or collapse the transcription to view the full text.

  6. Download the Transcript: You can download the transcription as a .txt file for future reference.

Providing Feedback

As a Beta feature, we are collecting user feedback to improve transcription quality. Users can rate the transcription by selecting the thumbs up or thumbs down icon and provide additional feedback.

Searchable Transcriptions

Once generated, transcriptions are available in chat history, making them searchable like any other message. Other team members can also view them.

Availability

The Audio Transcription feature is available only to Pro and Business plan customers.
