Note: Team Inbox Analytics reports include data only for WhatsApp messages. Messages from other channels such as Facebook or Instagram are not included.

Instructions

Access Team Inbox Analytics

Team Inbox Analytics is available on all Wati plans.

To access it:

  • Log in to your Wati account.

  • Go to Analytics > Inbox Analytics.

Note: If your Wati account has multiple connected WhatsApp numbers, you can view analytics for each number individually. Go to Analytics > Inbox Analytics, then select the required number from the dropdown menu.

Required permissions

To access Team Inbox Analytics, you must have one of the following roles:

  • Administrator

  • Dashboard Viewer

Use the date range filter

The Date Range filter lets you view analytics for a specific time period.

By default, Team Inbox Analytics displays data for the last 7 days.

To change the date range:

  • Select one of the available quick date filters.

  • Choose a custom date range using the date picker.

Note: Both the From and To dates are included in the selected date range.

Preview sample data

If your account does not have enough data to generate meaningful analytics, you can preview sample data to explore the available charts.

To enable sample data:

  • Go to the Inbox Analytics page.

  • Turn on the Preview with sample data toggle in the upper-right corner.

Sample data is displayed for demonstration purposes only.

Note: You cannot change the date range while viewing sample data.

Common chart features

Most charts in Team Inbox Analytics include the following interactive features.

View chart information

Each chart includes a tooltip that explains the metric being displayed.

The tooltip also contains a link to learn more about how the metric is calculated.

Zoom and navigate charts

Charts that display data over time support zooming and navigation.

You can:

  • Use the + and buttons to zoom in or out.

  • Use the selection tool to zoom into a specific time range.

  • Use the Hand tool to move across the chart.

  • Click the Reset icon to restore the default view.

Download chart data

You can download data from individual charts in different formats.

To download chart data:

  • Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the chart.

  • Select your preferred download format.

Filter chart data

You can customize the chart by showing or hiding specific data series.

To filter chart data:

  • Click an item in the chart legend to hide or display that value.

Overview

The Overview section provides a high-level summary of the most important Team Inbox metrics, helping you quickly understand your team's overall performance during the selected date range.

Ticket status over time

This chart shows how many times tickets moved to each status during the selected reporting period. It helps you understand how ticket statuses change over time.

Total ticket count by status

This chart displays the total number of tickets for each ticket status within the selected reporting period, giving you an overview of your ticket distribution.

Operator performance

This report provides key performance metrics for each Team Inbox operator, helping you evaluate workload and support performance across your team.

Count of tags

This chart displays the total number of tickets associated with each of the top 20 tags during the selected reporting period. It helps you identify the most common conversation topics and customer issues.

Ticket duration vs. count

This chart compares the total number of tickets created with the total time spent handling those tickets during the selected reporting period.

Sent vs. received messages

This chart compares the number of messages sent and received over the selected reporting period, helping you understand overall messaging activity.

Sent messages by type

This chart shows the number of messages sent by message type during the selected reporting period.

Message delivery status

This chart displays the delivery status of sent messages during the selected reporting period, allowing you to monitor message delivery performance.

Total messages by type

This chart shows the total number of messages for each Meta-defined message type during the selected reporting period.
