Instructions
Follow these steps to integrate Wati with Swipe:
Prerequisites:
Complete the integration request form provided by Swipe.
After submission, you will receive an activation email from the Swipe team.
Only after activation can you continue with the integration process.
Step 1: Connect Wati in Swipe
Open the Swipe WhatsApp Integration page.
Click Connect Wati.
Step 2: Open Wati API settings
Log in to your Wati dashboard.
On the top bar, click More → API Docs.
Step 3: Copy Wati API details
From the API Docs page, copy the following:
API Token
Base URL (Endpoint)
Step 4: Add Wati details to Swipe
Return to the Swipe WhatsApp Integration page.
Paste the API Token and Base URL in the respective fields.
Click Create Integration.
Step 5: Get the Webhook URL from Swipe
After creating the integration, Swipe will generate a Webhook URL.
Copy this URL. It is needed to track message status from Wati.
Step 6: Add webhook in Wati
In your Wati dashboard, click More → Webhooks.
Click Add Webhook.
Step 7: Paste the Swipe webhook in Wati
Paste the Webhook URL you copied from Swipe.
Fill in the required fields (such as event types).
Click Save.
Note: Message templates are still created inside Wati, but they will also appear in Swipe for easy sending.
Step 8: Link WhatsApp templates in Swipe
In Swipe, open the WhatsApp integration section.
Select the templates you want to link for sending invoices or payment reminders.
You’re now ready to send invoices, payment reminders, and other messages directly from your WhatsApp Business number through Swipe.
