3. Submit the Template for Approval
Once your template is ready, submit it for approval.
After approval, use this template in your campaigns.
Important
When you add an image or a link inside a WhatsApp template, Meta used to display the default URL (live-mt-server.wati.io) in the message preview.
However, this has been updated and now if you use Wati’s Enable website click tracking feature, the link will use a structured Wati tracking URL instead.
After this update, the default URL will be:
https://whatsapp.wati.io
You can also choose to use a custom branded URL (submitted once during setup), for example:
https://company.whatsapp.wati.io/
This helps you maintain brand consistency while still tracking link clicks effectively.
How to view click data of your campaigns
Once your campaign is live, you can monitor how many users clicked on your website link. Go to Campaigns Overview and you should see the clicks data for your campaigns. You can click on View Insights for a more detailed breakdown of engagement metrics.
This feature helps you analyze user behavior and optimize your campaigns for better results!
