Completing your business verification (BV) is an important step to fully activate your account.
Until your BV is complete, you won’t be able to:
Submit message templates for approval
Send campaigns
That’s why you’ll see reminders on certain pages to help you finish verification and unlock these features.
When you should opt for SPLBV
You should only request Simplified Partner-Led Business Verification (SPLBV) if you see the following message in WhatsApp Manager: This account is waiting partner verification.
What this means: Meta has placed your WhatsApp Business Account in a partner-verification state. Wati must review and submit your business verification before the account can start sending messages.
If you do not see the "This account is waiting partner verification" message, you can complete Meta Business Verification yourself without using SPLBV. Follow our Business Verification guide for step-by-step instructions.
How SPLBV helps you
Normally, Meta checks your account directly during business verification, which can sometimes result in delays or automatic bans for new accounts. With SPLBV:
Wati performs the verification on your behalf.
Meta trusts Wati’s verification, so some checks are skipped.
Your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) stays “on hold” until verification is complete, reducing the risk of immediate bans.

How to use SPLBV
The setup process is mostly the same as the regular Embedded Signup (ES). Here’s what to expect if you’re eligible:
Step 1: Check eligibility during signup
When you start the ES process, you’ll see SPLBV mentioned in Step 1 of the signup form.
Step 2: Connect your number
After connecting your WhatsApp number, you’ll see reminders to submit your verification documents to Wati. You can find these reminders on:

Templates page (go to Campaigns > Template Messages > Your Templates)
Step 3: Submit your documents
Book a call with Wati.
During the call, we’ll guide you and collect the required documents.
Wati will submit the documents to Meta for verification.
