Step 1: Add the WhatsApp Voice Call CTA to a template

  • Log in to your Wati account.

  • Go to Campaigns > Template Messages > WhatsApp.

  • Click New Template Message.

  • Select the template category and choose the WhatsApp number for which you want to create the template (if multiple numbers are onboarded).

  • Next to WhatsApp Voice Call, click Add Button CTA.

  • Click Save and Submit to save the template and send it for approval.

Step 2: Add a telephony voice call CTA (optional)

If you want the CTA to initiate a regular phone call instead of a WhatsApp voice call:

  • Click Add Button CTA next to Visit Website.

  • From the dropdown, select Call Phone.

  • Enter the required details.

  • Save the template.
