Steps to track ROI for campaigns
1. Create a new campaign
Open your Wati Shopify app.
From the left menu, click Campaigns.
Click Create New Campaign.
2. Set up your campaign
On the campaign setup page:
Select the message template you want to send.
Choose the contacts you want to send the campaign to.
3. Enable ROI tracking
After selecting the template and contacts:
Turn on the Enable ROI tracking option on the campaign setup page.
This will allow Wati to track if the recipients of your campaign make a purchase after receiving or interacting with your message.
Conversion event settings
By default, Wati will track purchases made within 2 days of a user receiving or clicking on your message.
You can change this setting to track purchases for up to 10 days.
This setting controls how long Wati will look for a conversion event (such as a purchase) from the contacts who read your message or clicked the call-to-action (CTA) button in your campaign.
4. View ROI analytics
Once your campaign is sent:
Go back to the Campaigns section in your Wati Shopify app.
You will see analytics for each campaign, including:
Total spend
Number of recipients
Number of orders received
Users who clicked the CTA button
Total revenue generated
ROI percentage
5. Export detailed order information
You can download detailed order data by clicking the Export button on the campaign analytics page.
The exported report will include:
Order number
Purchased item details
Order date
Discount coupons applied
