Before you begin
Before connecting TikTok to Wati, make sure you have:
A TikTok Business Account
Advanced Access enabled for your TikTok Business Account
The Allow everyone to send direct messages setting enabled in TikTok
A TikTok Business Account that is eligible for the TikTok Business Messaging API based on TikTok's regional requirements
Important: Unsupported regions
TikTok Business Messaging on Wati is currently available for TikTok Business Accounts registered outside of the following regions:
United States (US)
European Economic Area (EEA)
Switzerland
United Kingdom (UK)
India
If your TikTok Business Account is registered in one of these regions, you may not be able to connect it to Wati at this time.

Connect your TikTok Business Account
To connect TikTok with Wati:
Go to Settings > Channels > TikTok.
Click TikTok.
Click on Connect TikTok.
Sign in to your TikTok account and authorize Wati.
Complete the authorization process.
Once the connection is successful, your TikTok channel will be added to Wati.
Manage TikTok conversations
After connecting your TikTok channel, all incoming TikTok messages will appear in the Wati Inbox.
You can:
Read and reply to TikTok messages in real time
Assign conversations to agents or teams
Add tags to conversations
Leave internal notes for collaboration

Manage TikTok contacts
When a customer messages your business on TikTok for the first time, Wati automatically creates a contact record.
The contact record includes:
TikTok display name
TikTok profile image
Source channel set to TikTok
Conversation entry point
Wati can identify how the customer started the conversation, including:
TikTok messaging ads
If a phone number is later added to the contact profile, the contact can also be associated with WhatsApp.
Understand TikTok messaging limits
TikTok applies messaging rules that determine when and how many messages a business can send.
Initial messaging window
After a customer sends the first message, your business can send up to 10 messages within the next 48 hours.
Active conversation window
If the customer replies to your message, a new 48-hour window begins.
During this period, your business can send an unlimited number of messages.
Inactive conversation limit
If the customer does not reply for more than 48 hours:
Your business can send up to 3 additional messages
Unlimited messaging will resume only after the customer replies again

Historical TikTok conversations from before the channel was connected cannot be imported into Wati.
Video messages, voice messages, stickers, and avatars are not currently supported. These message types may appear as links instead.
Image messaging support depends on TikTok's regional availability requirements.
Interactive buttons are not supported and will appear as plain text messages.
