When you enable Auto checkout in Wati, every Catalog order you receive will trigger an automated sequence of messages to collect the customer's address and payment details. Customers can respond at their convenience, without any time restrictions. You can track all order details, including payment and address information, from the Wati Orders page.
How to Set Up Auto Checkout and WhatsApp Payment Configuration Name
Follow these steps to enable Auto checkout and configure WhatsApp payments:
1. Enable Auto Checkout in Wati
Log in to your Wati account.
Click More from the top navigation bar and go to Commerce.
Select the Checkout tab from the left menu.
Toggle Enable Auto Checkout.
.Customize the Address Message Body Text that will be sent to your Catalog customers. (The address form is automatically handled by WhatsApp.)
Next, connect your payment gateway to WhatsApp.
2. Create Your WhatsApp Payment Configuration Name
In the Wati Checkout page, toggle WhatsApp Pay to create a WhatsApp payment configuration name.
Click Go To Your WhatsApp Manager and log in as an admin.
Select Razorpay or PayU, then click Next.
Click New Configuration and enter the following details:
WABA ID (WhatsApp Business Account ID)
Configuration Name (a name of your choice)
Industry/Purpose Codes (relevant to your business)
Click Next.
Enter your Facebook account password to confirm.
You will be redirected to the payment gateway's website. Log in and confirm the connection with WhatsApp.
After successful integration, return to the Wati Integration page.
Copy and paste the WhatsApp Payment Configuration you just created.
From the Checkout page, select the newly added payment configuration and click Save.
