How AI Co-pilot works

Every time you use an AI feature in Wati, a certain number of credits are consumed based on the action performed; for example when you use CSAT summary - it will use 1 credit. Here’s how it works:

  • Each AI feature has a specific credit cost per use. Credits are deducted as soon as you request to use the feature.

  • The total usage is counted against your monthly credit limit.

  • If you have purchased the AI Co-pilot add-on, you will get some free credits initially based on your Wati plan. When the free credits are exhausted and you need more, you can purchase additional credits.

  • AI Translation Instantly translate incoming and outgoing messages using AI.

  • Suggested Reply – Get AI-based message suggestions.

  • Conversation Summary – Automatically summarize long chat threads.

What happens when you upgrade or downgrade the number of credits?

  • Upgrading: You can upgrade at any time. The additional credits will be added immediately, and you’ll be charged on a prorated basis for the rest of the billing cycle.

  • Downgrading: You can downgrade whenever you want. The change will take effect in your next billing cycle, and your current plan will remain active until then.

What happens when you exceed your credit limit?

If you reach your monthly limit, AI-related actions will stop working until you top up. Here’s what you can expect:

  • AI features become temporarily unavailable for all operators on the plan.

  • You’ll receive notifications via email and in-app when you reach 75%, 90%, and 100% of your usage.

  • To continue using AI features, you’ll need to purchase additional AI Co-pilot add-on credits.

How to check your AI Co-pilot usage

You can monitor your AI Co-pilot credit usage in the same way you check Automation Triggers. This lets you stay on top of your remaining credits and avoid interruptions.

To track your AI Co-pilot credits usage for the current month, follow these steps:

1. On Wati, click on More.

2. Select Account Details.

3. On the left navigation menu, click on Your Plan.

4. Look for the AI Co-pilot section to view your current trigger limit and usage for the month.

How to purchase additional AI Co-pilot add-ons

Purchasing extra AI Co-pilot add-on credits follows the same process as buying Automation Triggers. Simply go to your Wati dashboard and follow the prompts to top up.

To purchase more AI Co-pilot credits, you can purchase the Add-On Automation Triggers. Here’s how to do it:

1. On Wati, click on More.

2. Select Account Details.

3. In the left navigation menu, click on Your Plan.

4. Under the Add-ons section, click Buy AI Co-pilot credits.

No. Any unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and reset at the start of the next month.

Yes, it’s available across all Wati plans, with varying levels of free monthly credits.
