 Pre-requisite:

  1. WhatsApp Phone Number (Should not have a WhatsApp account)
    If you want to delete the WhatsApp account with your number, follow these steps.
  2. Business Display Name (Should have a clear relationship with Business)

  3. Facebook Business Manager ID
    If you do not have a Facebook Business, please create by clicking here.
    To verify your Facebook Business, please follow these steps.
    If your "start verification" button is greyed, please click here
Depending on Business verification progress by Facebook Official Team, usually takes about a week.

What if your Facebook Business is not verified?

You can still get access to WATI & WhatsApp Business API, but with limited access.

When your Facebook Business is not verified, you're subject to a few limitations -

  • You can send business-initiated messages to upto 50 contacts per 24 hours
  • You can add up to 2 numbers on WhatsApp Business API

If the conversation is initiated by the user, you can send unlimited replies to those conversations without any limitations.

How to increase your messaging limit?

If you want to increase your messaging limit, you must complete your Facebook Business Verification process and get your WhatsApp account approved.
