How to add buttons to templates?

Creating call-to-action buttons in a template

WhatsApp allows us to create templates with Call-To-Actions (CTA) buttons. A maximum of 7 buttons can be created in a template (4 CTAs and 3 quick replies)

1. Visit Website

We support the use of 2 visit website CTAs in your templates:

Button text refers to the text display on the button, with maximum 25 characters, for example "Click here for more info".

Either a static or dynamic link can be inserted.

For dynamic link, WhatsApp does not allow a fully dynamic link, so it follows the format like

https://www.example.com/{{dynamic_variable_here}}, or

https://www.youtube.com/channel/{{youtubelink}},

only the last part of the URL can be dynamic by putting a variable with small case letters, numbers or underscore at the end.

https://www.example.com/{{not_allowed}}/homepage -> A variable at the start or in the middle of the URL is not allowed by Whatsapp.

2. Call Phone

Button text refers to the text display on the button, with maximum 25 characters.

Enter the phone number with country code.

3. Coupon code

Add a custom coupon code that your users can easily copy and use!
